cs2102 - Benchmarking Software Packages
This product includes a number of different software packages for performing benchmarks on computer hardware and systems. The packages are, in most cases distributed as compressed archives of one kind or another (.zip, .tar, etc.). The user is expected to be prepared to expand these archives using the programs that are appropriate, and to follow the installation procedures that accompany each package. For Linux/UNIX/BSD versions this may include compilation. Windows and Macintosh versions are in binary form, where applicable. Not every package is suitable for every situation or operating environment; however, there are many good programs here. I believe this software to be useful, but naturally, I cannot give assurances about the suitability of any package for your particular requirements.
