This product includes a number of different firewall related packages. The sources are included. There is much more here for UNIX and Linux users than anyone else. Generally, these are stable, well tested programs, though the standard has been lowered a bit in some cases so there could be something for Windows.The packages fall into a few groups:(1) Many are based upon the iptables/ipchains/netfilter disciplines and tend to concentrate on more easily expressing the rule set.(2) Functional enhancement of the iptables/ipchains/netfilter methods by means of dynamic modification schemes, so called "port knocking" protocols, and other ideas.(3) Router solutions packaged as standalone ISO bootable CD images.(4) Other more or less creative and weird ideas.
